Due to people like you, I, for quite some time now, (and I don't think I'm alone here, have been seriously considering petitioning the governments of every country with electricity and computers to require I.Q. and general reading comprehension tests for anyone who wants to use the internet.
Perhaps differentiating between a sequel and an original title (such as this) in a game, movie, or book series could be one of the parts of the test. That way I wouldn't have to see posts such as yours on EVERY FUCKING GAME I DOWNLOAD. Way, way, way too many of you guys.

anyone getting an error on installation it crashed for me the first time i tried to install it, the second time i unchecked the direct x installation and it installed without a hitch

I am a total newbie when it comes to mounting and installing stuff. Can anyone give me instructions on how to do this? I went to set up and it says its installed but when i press play it says DVD-ROM is not entered. Even though i ran it from My Computer as a disc.

I actually had this weird blue texture problem, I fixed it by searching for "Far Cry Blue Screen Problem Fix". It was on You Tube, but can't post the link. It also involved updating to version 1.1

uhh... hello, I need help, when I start the game, it just became black blank, and the status on task manager is Not Responding, please help. note, I already crack it.
For those who don't understand how to make it work(this is how i did it and it runs.):
1)Mount the iso file with daemon tools or poweriso.
2)Install the game by clicking setup>install. Don't launch the game.
3)Then right click the file in computer and click open then go to the Deviance folder and drag "FarCry" into (Default)"c:/Program FilesUbisoftCrytekFar Crybin32" and replace it.
4)Enjoy the game. :)
